Richmond Bowl-A-Rama

Richmond's Annual PTOBC Bowl-A-Rama Fundraiser event will be Sunday, April 13th, 2025 at Sussex Bowl

We are excited for you to join us at this year's Bowl-A-Rama event for a day of bowling, raffles, baked goods, and fun!


This year's raffle basket themes are listed below. Please consider donating an item or two that fits the theme of your student's grade! It's always fun to see what each grade contributes and which baskets are the most sought-after! If you have any questions about donations, please reach out to your room parent or email the PTOBC at ptobc@richmond.k12.wi.us.


2025 Grade Level Basket Themes:

 

4K:  Golf Lovers Basket

5k: Travel and Road Trip Package Basket

1st: Lake Country Basket

2nd: Staycation Basket

3rd:  Ice Cream Sundae and Pizza Night In Basket

4th: Baking and Cooking Basket

5th: Richmond School Spirit Colors Basket

6th: Raking In The Cash Basket (Money)

7th: Gift Card and Membership Basket

8th: Lottery Tickets Basket

Richmond Room Parents:


Your responsibility for the fundraiser is to compile the  themed gift basket that you will find below that is assigned to your  specific grade level.  I already have a template written up for you to  use to send to the teachers to get printed and sent home with the  students to receive donations. I highly recommend sending these out no  later than end of next week Friday, February 28th to ensure you have  plenty of time to receive donations prior to the fundraising event.  The  template letter will list the date of the event,  name of your themed  basket along with items noted that you can ask for that go along with  your theme.  Some families will turn in check, gift cards, items and or  money to use towards the basket and which is very common now and super  helpful venmo you can do also.  If a parent sends in money, check or  venmo, you as the room parent you will need to take that to purchase  something for the themed basket. Personally,  I usually wait till the  end to see what comes through in donations so you can see what else can  be added to avoid duplicates. You  can decide as room parents who to put on the letter to receive the  written checks or venmo donations.  Please ensure as room parents  you check in weekly or with the teachers to see if anything has been  turned in so you can grab accordingly.


Each  grade level will need only 1 laundry basket per grade level and this is  to be placed inside one of the classrooms your/teachers choice on which  one.  The only grades not to receive baskets will be 6th-8th grade  as these rooms parents you can just make sure that one of the teachers  in your grade has an envelope to keep the gift cards, money or lottery  tickets in.  I will have these laundry baskets placed in the main office  by 8am Friday, February 28th.  If you can then coordinate by having one  of the room parents either grab a basket and place in their classroom  and or let the teacher know and they can grab and place for you again,  please only take 1 per grade level.  If you have any questions regarding  this please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. 


The  week prior to the fundraiser your gift baskets will be due back to the  school.  As room parents please ensure that you have your baskets all  assembled and put together the week of April 7th.  All room  parents are to drop off your finished baskets to the main office on  either of the two drop off dates noted Wednesday April 8th or Thursday April 9th by  3pm each day.  You can set them on the long counter by the copier.  The  PTO will then come and grab them to pack up and transfer to Sussex  Bowl.  To wrap your baskets please use cello wrap you can purchase this  at the dollar store if you have something else you would like to use  that is not a problem, just ensure you can see the items in the gift  baskets for when guests look at them at the event.  Super IMPORTANT, when  you assemble and turn in your final basket to the office please make  sure that you print on an 8x10 piece of paper the following items Basket  Theme and Items that are in the basket this can be placed inside of the  basket or taped to the outside of the basket, but ensure that its  visible no matter where it’s placed. Also please make sure that you put a  sticky note by the basket or on outside so we know what grade level  it’s from.  


*Please  NOTE the laundry baskets are there for you to use to compile your  basket if you would like, however you don’t have to use them. You can  use anything of your choice.  Be creative you can create your basket by  using wagons, crockpots, umbrellas, buckets, coolers ect! This is a fun  event and have fun with it the options are endless! If you don’t end up  using the laundry basket please return back to the front office so we  can reuse next year.

Can’t  wait to see how they turn out this year! We do this event every year so  I try and change up the themes each year especially as we have a lot of  families each year that see them so new ideas is perfect!!  Have fun  and let’s make these baskets the best yet!

Please  watch for a separate email this week which will have your template  attached I will send individually.  I am just trying to finish them all  so I can send them to all grade levels at same time.  Below is this  year’s basket themes.
