A key connection between teachers and families, helping to support classroom and school-wide events throughout the year. Responsibilities include coordinating with teachers to plan and host grade-level events, organizing volunteers, and collecting donations or supplies as needed.
Younger grades require the most involvement, with three room parents assigned per grade level. There are typically 3 parties per year with an additional end of the year party in 4k/5k.
Very few events and not as much involvement as 4k-2. There is still about 1-2 events and assistance required by room parents, but very minimal.
Requires more involvement than grades 3-6th as these room parents assist with graduation-related activities throughout the year. Due to the increased involvement Grade 8 usually has 3-4 room parents assigned.
We’re kicking off the 2025–2026 school year and would love for you to be part of it! Whether you can give an hour, a day, or more, there’s a place for you to get involved. From helping in classrooms to supporting school events, every bit of time makes a difference for our students and teachers.
